How to stack bracelets without a clash
4 min read ยท Beach Bead Co

A good stack looks easy, but it follows a few simple rules. Once you know them, you can build one in a minute.
Here is what we do.
Start with a base
Pick one bracelet you love and build around it. It can be a colorful band like the Beaded Stack Set of 4 or a single bold piece.
The set already has four bracelets that sit well together, so it is an easy starting point.
Mix texture, not just color
Put a smooth bead next to a shiny one. The Gold-Tone Ball Bead Bracelet is made of copper beads with a gold-tone finish, and it looks great beside glass seed beads.
A small touch of metal ties a colorful stack together.
Vary the widths
Mix a wide band with a few thin ones. Three bands of the same width look flat. Different widths look lively.
Our stack set has four bracelets with beads of different sizes, so the widths already vary.
Keep to a palette
Choose two or three colors that sit together, such as coral and sand, or blue and white. Add one neutral to calm it down.
Match sizes too: choose the same size across bracelets so none of them slides around.

Questions and answers
How many bracelets should I stack?
Three is a nice number. Go higher if you like it busy.
Can I mix metals and beads?
Yes. A small amount of gold-tone sets off colorful beads.
Do I stack on both wrists?
You can. Many people prefer one wrist for the stack.
